Location/date of finding: ROW/Sandbostel, area around Dorfstr., on May 3, 2026. Gender: male. Age: not yet known. Not neutered, not microchipped. UPDATE July 4, 2026: Mickey has now been moved to a foster home, where he hopefully will finally get some peace and quiet. He needs a stable environment and patient people who can give him time and remain calm. UPDATE July 2, 2026: Mickey is still receiving medical treatment. He seems to become overstimulated very quickly in social interactions and then bites. He would love to cuddle and be petted, but once he starts, he can’t pull himself away from the situation and tends to bite or scratch instead. You need to observe him closely to recognize when he’s getting overwhelmed and give him the break he can’t ask for himself. UPDATE June 15, 2026: Mickey is temporarily reserved. However, we’d like to wait and see what new information the medical examination reveals about him. UPDATE May 3, 2026: The tomcat is tame—does anyone know him? Further details to follow.

Fundort/-datum: ROW/Sandbostel, Bereich Dorfstr. am 3.05.2026 Geschlecht: männlich Alter: noch nicht bekannt nicht kastriert, nicht gechipt UPDATE 4.07.2026 Mickey ist heute auf eine Pflegestelle umgezogen, und darf dort hoffentlich etwas zur Ruhe kommen. Er braucht ein stabiles Umfeld und geduldige Menschen, die ihm Zeit geben und Geduld haben. Wir wünschen ihm sehr, dass er genau diese Menschen finden wird. UPDATE 2.07.2026 Mickey ist weiterhin in medizinischer Behandlung. Er scheint im Kontakt sehr schnell zu überreizen und beißt dann zu. Er möchte gerne schmusen und gestreichelt werden, kann sich dann aber nicht trennen und aus der Situation raus und beißt oder kratzt dann eher. Man muss ihn gut beobachten, um zu wissen wann es zu viel wird und man ihm die Pause gibt, die er sich nicht nehmen kann. UPDATE 15.06.2026 Mickey ist vorerst reserviert.
