How do I contact the shelter about Miecio?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Miecio on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.

Can I adopt Miecio if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.

Is Miecio already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?

Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Miecio isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Miecio and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Miecio is looking for his human! ❤️ Miecio is one of several kittens who were born unplanned because their mom was not spayed. Unfortunately, there are still far too many such stories... Miecio is about 3 months old and is a wonderful little cat who is showing more and more each day what a great companion he is. 🥹❤️ Initially, he was shy and needed some time to trust humans. Today, there is almost no sign of that shyness, Miecio is a total cat lover🐱❤️ It is this feline companionship that brings him great joy, so he would do great in a home with another cat or maybe be adopted with another kitten. ❤️ Miecio is: 🐾 about 3-month-old kitten 🐾 dewormed 🐾 vaccinated 🐾 microchipped 🐾 FIV/FeLV negative 🐾 litter box trained 🐾 loves other cats ❤️ Now it's time for his life to really begin in a real home, with his own human and lots of love. 🏡❤️ 📍 Miecio is in the Łódź province, but we are looking for a home in all of Poland. 💛 Adoption is free. ☎️ 882 470 992

🏡❤️ 📍 Miecio przebywa w woj. łódzkim, ale domu szukamy w całej Polsce. 💛 Adopcja jest bezpłatna. ☎️ 882 470 992

About Miecio

What life with Miecio looks like

Miecio is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.
