I don't like cats. • I have the following special features regarding temperament or breed characteristics: No notable features • Things to be aware of regarding my health: Nothing to note • The following health measures have been done for me: My right front leg was amputated, leaving a large scar as a reminder • I have lived in home care: No • I have been in shelter kennel for over 2 years: Yes • Can walk on a leash: Yes I am Migelis, super friendly and a lively joker! People say I had a tough start in life. I don't think about it anymore, life is now and I love every moment. Before I ended up in the shelter kennel, I lived alone. I was found behind an old farm, at the end of a chain. The chain was so short that I could hardly move. No one saw me, and no one came. My front leg was already broken, twisted in the wrong direction. It happened many times. Then one day someone saw me. I was rescued. They took me to the vet and there my leg was fixed. It first had to be broken again and a metal plate was put in. After the surgery I had to be very calm. It was difficult, because I am happy and energetic and I always want to go! The leg healed, but two years later it started to bother again. The vet said my body started rejecting the metal plate, so it was removed. Now there is a big scar, a reminder of the past, but I have never let it stop me.
