CAUSE OF ADMISSION: LYMPHOMA 7.10.2025. A friendly and social older female cat arrived at the shelter from Läätsa. She was first seen several weeks ago near apartment buildings, trying to join the group of cats that had been spayed/neutered and returned by us years ago. Due to her poor condition, she was noticed by two animal friends, and 12-year-old Miisu was quickly taken to the shelter. How do we know the cat is that old? Because it's our old acquaintance, Miisu (together with three companions) was microchipped and spayed in 2016 and returned home with this information provided by the chip register. The owner's wife passed away in 2018, and the owner passed away in 2024. How did the cat end up living 21 km away in Läätsa? Was looking for a new home and the cat ran away? Arrived hungry and thin (only 2.2 kg) to the colony of apartment dwellers who feed them and wants to go back home. We tried to get information about the cat through a mutual friend, but the person responded very reluctantly and unfortunately, from this attitude, we can only conclude one thing... PLEASE OFFER Miisu A HOME OR FOSTER HOME! Finding a permanent home for an elderly cat is relatively impossible mission, but we don't want to give up hope, it is, and will remain! VIKERKAARELE MINEKU PÕHJUS SOOLELÜMFOOM 7.10.2025 Läätsalt turvakodusse jõudnud sõbralik ja häälekas ülikõhn emane kassike. Esmakordselt nähti teda kortermajade juures mõned nädalad tagasi kui ta üritas ühineda meie poolt aastaid tagasi steriliseeritud/kastreeritud ja toitjate juurde tagasi läinud kasside seltskonnaga. Oma kehva konditsiooni tõttu jäi ta silma korraga kahele loomasõbrale ning 12 aastane Miisu sai kiirelt turvakodusse toimetatud. Kust me teame, et kass just nii vana on? Aga seepärast, et tegu on meie vana tuttavaga 2016 a sai Miisu (koos kolme kaaslasega) omaniku palvel kiibitud ja steriliseeritud ning koju tagasi viidud sellise info andis meile kiibiregister. Perenaine suri 2018 aastal, peremees 2024 aastal. Kuidas sattus linnas elanud kass pea 21 km kaugusele Läätsale? Otsiti uus kodu ja kass pani plehku? Jõudis nälginuna ja ülikõhnana (kehakaal vaid 2.2 kg ) Läätsa kortermajade elanike poolt toidetava koloonia juurde ja tahaks koju tagasi pääseda?
