Behind his gentle eyes lies a kind, calm and sensitive dog who just needs some time to gain trust. When you first meet him, he appears shy and cautious. But with friendly words, a few treats and loving caresses, he quickly thaws and shows his true nature. He is affectionate, friendly and enjoys being close to his people. Mike is very social and gets along well with other dogs. In the open run, he enjoys activities with his fellow canines while remaining pleasant, calm and composed. New situations or hectic movements can still unsettle him. But he is also brave and tries to overcome his fears. With patience, understanding and loving guidance, he gains increasing confidence. He already walks well on a leash and pays close attention to his human. Mike spent his entire life so far in the animal shelter, which is very sad. Now he is waiting to finally experience how wonderful a home of his own can be - with a soft bed, loving people and many shared moments. A confident first dog would make it easier for him to start his new life, but it's not a must. Mike is looking for people with heart, patience and understanding who will show him that the world can also be full of beautiful surprises. Mike is waiting to finally arrive - maybe at your place.

Hinter seinen sanften Augen verbirgt sich ein lieber, ruhiger und sensibler Hund, der einfach ein wenig Zeit braucht um Vertrauen zu fassen. Wenn man ihm das erste Mal begegnet, wirkt er zunächst schüchtern und vorsichtig. Doch mit freundlichen Worten, ein paar Leckerlis und liebevollen Streicheleinheiten, taut er schnell auf und zeigt sein wahres Wesen. Er ist verschmust, freundlich und genießt dann die Nähe zu seinen Menschen. Mike ist sehr sozial und versteht sich hervorragend mit anderen Hunden. Im Freilauf genießt er gemeinsame Aktivitäten mit seinen Artgenossen und bleibt dabei aber meist angenehm, ruhig und gelassen. Neue Situationen oder hektische Bewegungen können ihn noch verunsichern. Doch er ist auch mutig und versucht seine Ängste zu überwinden. Mit Geduld, Verständnis und liebevoller Führung gewinnt er zunehmend an Sicherheit. An der Leine läuft er bereits ganz gut und orientiert sich aufmerksam an seinem Menschen. Mike verbrachte sein ganzes bisheriges Leben im Tierheim, was sehr traurig ist. Nun wartet er darauf endlich zu erfahren, wie schön ein eigenes Zuhause sein kann – mit einem weichen Körbchen, liebevollen Menschen und vielen gemeinsamen Momenten. Ein vorhandener souveräner Ersthund würde ihm den Start in sein neues Leben erleichtern, ist aber kein Muss.
