Mila

Russian Blue · Female · Adult · 5 years

Description Mila was found on a road, approaching cars to ask for food... She was very lost, stressed and hungry, so she came to us happily. We picked her up in our arms and put her in the carrier... She is very outgoing even with strangers, very affectionate, very active, playful, she loves human contact. No one was looking for her or had a microchip, so we think she was abandoned. Positive for feline immunodeficiency, completely asymptomatic, she is only a carrier. Ideal home with more cats or adoption together with her friend and housemate: Haru, another precious one and also an asymptomatic carrier of feline immunodeficiency. Joint adoption would be an ideal option: they get along great, they complement each other: Mila is very outgoing, very effusive, very energetic and Haru is sweet and a bit shy. Together they make a perfect balance. Also available for adoption as a single cat because of her outgoing and affectionate nature. She loves human contact more than anything. We will deliver her with an adoption contract, microchip, spayed, with FIV and FeLV tests, vaccinations and dewormed. If you want to meet her, contact us! Are you interested? She is also available for temporary foster care and we take care of the maintenance and veterinary expenses. Let's talk?

Hablamos? WhatsApp: 680997198

About Mila

What life with Mila looks like

Mila is a adult russian blue cat waiting at CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mila, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mila?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mila on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mila if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mila already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mila isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with CES Sant Feliu (adoptaungatito.es) early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mila and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
