The five ladies are curious, active and have already found a stable ranking among themselves – real team players just! Like all degus, they need plenty of space to climb, race and race, as well as daily change and observation. They are tame in handling, but rather on the go than on hand – perfect for people who enjoy watching their little roommates in their lively everyday life. A large, well-structured cage or self-construction with several floors, impeller, sand bath and many hiding places is a prerequisite for the group to feel comfortable all around. Anyone who wants to give this five charming fur noses a permanent home gets a well-established, harmonious group that goes through thick and thin together.
