MILÁČEK

Mixed Breed · Male

Is there hope for the disabled Miláček? A few months ago, MILÁČEK was just a normal kitten, like any other. He was born to some cat mother, probably near people, because he's an incredible mischievous one. Then something happened and Miláček ended up on the street. He was still that lovely tomcat, the little kitten we all know. He trusted everyone, wanted to snuggle with anyone. And that didn't pay off. He had to meet someone who took advantage of him. Someone pulled his tail so hard that he tore out his root, damaging some nerves in the process, and from then on, he has been permanently incontinent. If MILÁČEK didn't have his disability, he would already be in a home. He is incredibly adorable, a tomcat with a personality that comes once in a hundred cats. He's such a mischievous one, he likes everything. He likes to be held, cuddled, and would be glued to a person 24 hours a day. But such a situation is not possible for us. Because the reality is different. MILÁČEK is permanently disabled. But despite that, we still hope that someone among you will give the kitten a chance. MILÁČEK is incontinent, but caring for him is not complicated. His tail is paralyzed, completely without feeling, but that doesn't stop him from anywhere. He jumps everywhere, goes everywhere, runs everywhere. Fortunately, he knows how to use the litter box on his own and is trained on a regular cat toilet. He just can't do it by himself. But he doesn't leave puddles anywhere; for a happy life, MILÁČEK needs to be manually emptied 2 to 3 times a day. It's a simple stimulation that takes about two minutes, and MILÁČEK is already trained. We would gladly teach you how to do it. And for the price of those few minutes a day, you get the most grateful tomcat the world has ever known. MILÁČEK is vaccinated and microchipped, and in the future, he will also be neutered. He doesn't like being alone, so he wants a cat friend to play with while his humans are at work. Despite what he has been through, he still trusts people. MILÁČEK is content, but he really longs for a home. And that is exactly what we cannot give him. Can you help us?

I přes to, co si prožil, pořád důvěřuje lidem.

About MILÁČEK

What life with MILÁČEK looks like

MILÁČEK is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Útulek Kocour Felix (PSOZ) in Czech Republic.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.

Frequently asked

Adopting MILÁČEK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about MILÁČEK?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Útulek Kocour Felix (PSOZ) handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw MILÁČEK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt MILÁČEK if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Útulek Kocour Felix (PSOZ) will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is MILÁČEK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if MILÁČEK isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Útulek Kocour Felix (PSOZ) early rather than rehoming privately; they know MILÁČEK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
