Milena

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 6 years

Adopt Milena for 1€ per month. Date of birth: August 2020. Sex: Female. Breed: European. Size: Medium. A kitten that arrived because her family could no longer care for her. 😔 In the first days, she was very scared, hiding inside her bed. Now she comes out to look for affection, but she still feels sad and confused. From having everything to having nothing. Currently, she lives in the cat enclosure, but she doesn't like it much and shows fear, but with trust, she is a loving one who will rub against your legs without stopping. Milena hopes that some family will come today to the animal rescue association and be able to leave this bad experience behind. Come meet her! For more information, call or send an email to Milena. Actualment viu a la gatera, però no li agrada gaire i es mostra espantadissa, però amb confiança és una mimosa que es fregarà entre les teves cames sense parar. About Milena

What life with Milena looks like

Milena is a small adult mixed breed cat waiting at Protectora d in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Milena, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Milena?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Protectora d handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Milena on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Milena if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Protectora d will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Milena already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Milena isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Protectora d early rather than rehoming privately; they know Milena and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CA). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
