Adoption requirements Adoption process Request this animal now! Adoption requirements Adoption process Request this dog now! The beautiful name Milina means joy and pleasure. Both, Milina probably did not often or never experience in her young life. Because Milina did not have a home so far. And she would deserve nothing more than a loving family and a happy dog life. Milina is about 2 years old and weighs around 20-23 kg. Thus, she has a nice medium size. With her beautiful face, fluffy coat and elegant body structure, she is a true beauty. Milina is always friendly, kind and open. At the beginning, the shelter is naturally overwhelming and many dogs withdraw at first, but despite all the noise and stress, Milina has not lost her friendly nature. She enjoys when we visit her in the enclosure and spend some time with her. She gets very little visitors. When she is allowed into the run, she blossoms and runs her rounds, full of joy of living... We wish for Milina a family that gives her all the time in the world and lets her discover the world. She has so much to catch up on and is full of initiative. Milina probably had not experienced what it means to live in the security of a nice home. The smart female dog will certainly learn quickly with pleasure and blossom. Milina is very compatible with other dogs and rather reserved. Are you the person who recognizes Milina in her entirety and wants to give her a loving home? Then contact us. And if you have the space and capacity to give Milina a foster home, we would also be very happy about that. Milina travels spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated against fleas with an EU pet passport to her new home. She will be adopted after a positive preliminary check and against a fee. Many thanks to Julia for this beautiful name. Thanks to you, Milina has an identity and thus the chance for a home. Date: 13.05.2026

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Milina

What life with Milina looks like

Milina is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Milina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Milina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Milina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Milina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Milina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Milina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Milina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
