Millie and Molly

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

Please meet Millie and Molly. These gorgeous girls are looking for a home together. They are typical for kittens of this age – lively, energetic and full of fun. They both enjoy human company but don’t have time to stop for long as there are so many things that need thoroughly exploring! We feel that they may be able to live with children of Secondary School age, as long as they all get on when they meet at the Shelter. They may be able to share with a cat-friendly dog but further observations would be needed to determine this. Millie and Molly will need new owners who are around for most of the day to continue their socialisation.

About Millie and Molly

What life with Millie and Molly looks like

Millie and Molly is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Millie and Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Millie and Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Millie and Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Millie and Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Millie and Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Millie and Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter early rather than rehoming privately; they know Millie and Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
