Milo

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 8 months

Neutered/Spayed? Must be completed by adopter. ❤️🐾 PUPPY POWER… MEET MILO! 🐾❤️ Oh Milo… where do we even start? 😍 He is gorgeous — inside and out . A goofy, clumsy, cuddly little man with the most beautiful eyes, and we absolutely adore him. ❤️🐾 Milo is an 8-month-old Collie/French Bulldog cross who has found himself looking for a new forever home following a family breakdown. Despite being a puppy, Milo isn't overly busy or hyperactive. He's a very amiable, affectionate and receptive young dog who enjoys being around people and is keen to learn. He currently lives in a home environment, so he's familiar with the comforts and routines of family life. He loves a cuddle and is a friendly boy, but — like any 8-month-old — he still needs those important boundaries, consistency and guidance to help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he's capable of becoming. 🐾 🐶 A little bit about Milo ❤️ 8 months old 🐾 Collie/Frenchie cross 🏡 Currently living in a home ❤️ Friendly and affectionate 🎓 Receptive to training 🐾 Can live with or without other dogs 💉 Vaccinated 📍 Microchipped 🐛 Flea treated & wormed Milo is looking for stability . His next home needs to be committed to him for the long term and prepared to continue his training and development. We'd ideally like someone experienced with dogs , or someone who is genuinely prepared to put the time and effort into training, engagement and boundaries when needed. He's going to be a lovely-sized dog — probably a little bigger than a Labrador , judging by those chunky paws! 😍 And those eyes… honestly, just look at him. ❤️ Milo would love a home where he can be part of the family, receive plenty of affection and have someone willing to help him navigate those teenage puppy months and become the best version of himself. He doesn't need to be the only dog and can potentially live with other dogs, provided the match is right. 🏡 Could Milo be your boy? We know it's easy to fall in love with that face — but Milo needs more than someone who thinks he's beautiful. He needs commitment, stability, patience, training and a family who will stick with him as he grows. If that sounds like you, or you know someone who has been looking for a gorgeous young dog like Milo, please share his post. ❤️🐾 Milo is ready to find his forever person. 🏡❤️ Adoption application is the first step, followed by home checks. Let's find this beautiful, goofy boy the home he deserves. ❤️🐾

About Milo

What life with Milo looks like

Milo is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Doggy Dens UK Rescue in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Milo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Milo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Doggy Dens UK Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Milo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Milo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Doggy Dens UK Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Milo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Milo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Doggy Dens UK Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Milo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
