Adopt Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause

European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 19 months

Milo has been with us at our shelter since May 2026. If I sense that you trust me, I just want to be close to you. I actually love being close to people, as long as I feel comfortable with them. My favorite spot is usually right next to you, on your lap, or even on your chest, simply enjoying the moment. For me, love isn't about making a big fuss or going on grand adventures. It's about being together! I'm more of a calm, sensitive soul with a big heart. People say I'm incredibly affectionate, and honestly, that's probably true… I wish for people who understand that some hearts need time to fully open. What I'm looking for? Not a perfect home. Not perfect people. I'm just looking for warmth, patience, understanding, and someone where I can finally feel at home :). Maybe you'd be willing to give me a fair chance.

Was ich suche? Kein perfektes Zuhause. Keine perfekten Menschen. Ich suche Wärme. Geduld. Verständnis. Und jemanden, bei dem ich endlich ankommen darf :) Vielleicht hast du ja Lust mir eine faire Chance zu geben. Bis hoffentlich Bald, -Milo

About Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause

What life with Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause looks like

Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause is a large puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Oldenburg in Oldenburg.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Oldenburg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Oldenburg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Oldenburg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Milo sucht ein ruhiges Für-immer-Zuhause and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
