Gemeinsam mit ihrer Schwester Bellini wurde sie in einem Waldgebiet gefunden, in dem zahlreiche Hunde völlig auf sich allein gestellt leben. Unser Tierschützer Dorel fährt regelmäßig dorthin, um die Hunde mit Futter zu versorgen und sie – wenn möglich – einzufangen, damit sie kastriert werden können. Auch Mimosas Mutter lebt bereits seit Jahren dort. Sie trägt einen riesigen Tumor am Bauch und Dorel hat schon mehrfach versucht, sie zu sichern. Leider ist sie so ängstlich, dass bisher jeder Versuch gescheitert ist. Da Mimosa und Bellini ihre einzigen überlebenden Welpen waren und ihre Mutter sich aufgrund ihres Gesundheitszustands kaum noch um sie kümmern konnte, entschied Dorel, die beiden Schwestern mit ins Shelter zu nehmen. Dort sind sie nun endlich in Sicherheit. Mimosa ist etwa 3 Monate alt und wird ausgewachsen vermutlich eine größere Hündin werden. Da ihre Mutter sehr wahrscheinlich Herdenschutzhund-Gene in sich trägt, können wir diese auch bei Mimosa nicht ausschließen. Ihre zukünftige Familie sollte sich deshalb mit den rassetypischen Eigenschaften auseinandersetzen. Mit ihrem flauschigen weiß-schwarzen Fell und ihrem liebevollen Blick ist Mimosa eine wunderschöne junge Hündin. Charakterlich zeigt sie sich eher ruhig und beobachtet neue Situationen zunächst lieber aus etwas Abstand. Fremden Menschen begegnet sie anfangs noch schüchtern, doch schon nach kurzer Zeit siegt ihre Neugier und sie beginnt vorsichtig Kontakt aufzunehmen. Hat sie Vertrauen gefasst, genießt sie die Aufmerksamkeit und zeigt ihre sanfte, freundliche Art. Mit ihren Artgenossen versteht sich Mimosa hervorragend. Sie lebt problemlos mit den anderen Hunden zusammen und orientiert sich gerne an ihnen. Da Mimosa noch ein Welpe ist, muss sie das gesamte Hunde-Einmaleins erst noch lernen. Mit liebevoller Konsequenz, Geduld und genügend Zeit wird sie sich sicher zu einer wunderbaren Begleiterin entwickeln. Für Mimosa wünschen wir uns ein liebevolles Zuhause, in dem sie in Ruhe ankommen darf und die Welt Schritt für Schritt kennenlernen kann. Menschen, die ihr Sicherheit geben und ihr zeigen, wie schön ein behütetes Hundeleben sein kann. Mimosa reist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis in ihr neues Zuhause. Sie wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr vermittelt.
