Minna is a beautiful, sensitive young female dog who has long been eagerly waiting for her chance in the shelter in Baia Mare. Now, there have been cautious but very important advancements: Minna can now be touched and stroked. However, she remains a very shy female dog who needs time, calmness, and empathy. Her trust is not something that can be given easily—it must be earned carefully. We know nothing about Minna's past. What we do know is that she has not had good experiences. The loud, overcrowded shelter was a significant burden for her for a long time. Therefore, it is now more important than ever to find people for Minna who will meet her with patience, respect, and empathy and guide her step by step into a new life. Even though she can now be touched, it is possible that in a new home, she may initially take a step back and not allow touch at first. This should be accepted and respected. With a shoulder height of about 55 to 60 cm, Minna is a medium-sized female dog. She has short black fur with white patches on her paw tips, chest, and chin.

Minna ist eine wunderschöne, sensible Hündin von mittlerweile etwa 1,5 Jahren, die im Shelter von Baia Mare auf ihre Chance wartet. Lange Zeit war die Nähe zu Menschen für sie kaum vorstellbar. Inzwischen gibt es jedoch kleine, aber sehr bedeutende Fortschritte: Minna lässt Berührungen zu und kann mittlerweile sogar vorsichtig gestreichelt werden. Für eine so unsichere Hündin ist das ein großer Schritt und zeigt uns, dass in ihr durchaus die Bereitschaft steckt, Vertrauen aufzubauen. Dennoch ist Minna nach wie vor sehr schüchtern und braucht Zeit, Ruhe und viel Einfühlungsvermögen. Ihr Vertrauen bekommt man nicht innerhalb weniger Tage geschenkt. Es muss behutsam wachsen – ohne Druck und ohne Erwartungen, die sie noch nicht erfüllen kann. Über Minnas Vergangenheit wissen wir nichts. Wir können deshalb nicht sagen, warum sie Menschen gegenüber so vorsichtig geworden ist oder welche Erfahrungen sie bisher gemacht hat. Sicher ist lediglich, dass das laute und hektische Leben im Shelter für eine sensible Hündin wie sie keine guten Voraussetzungen bietet, um dauerhaft Sicherheit zu entwickeln.
