Minouchet is a cat who came from the streets, where he was fed by a local resident. Today, he’s at the shelter with just one wish: to finally find a home of his own. Very shy, Minouchet needs plenty of time to adjust and learn to trust others. He observes carefully, stays in the background, and moves forward at his own pace. Patience and gentleness will be essential in helping him open up. Minouchet is FIV-positive (feline immunodeficiency virus, or “cat AIDS”). This means his immune system is more vulnerable, but with a calm environment and proper medical care, he can lead a happy life indoors. He’ll be able to live alongside other cats who are also FIV-positive—which might even provide him with reassurance.

Minouchet est un chat arrivé de la rue, où il était nourri par un habitant. Aujourd’hui, il est au refuge avec une seule envie : trouver enfin un foyer à lui. Très timide, Minouchet a besoin de beaucoup de temps pour s’adapter et apprendre à faire confiance. Il observe, reste en retrait et avance à son rythme. La patience et la douceur seront essentielles pour l’aider à s’ouvrir. Minouchet est FIV positif (sida du chat). Cela signifie que son système immunitaire est plus fragile, mais avec un environnement calme et un bon suivi, il peut vivre une belle vie en intérieur. Il pourra cohabiter avec d’autres chats eux aussi positifs au FIV, ce qui peut même être rassurant pour lui.
