Mira

Female · Puppy

Mira is a young female dog who has decided to live her life to the fullest... and drag her humans along with her! Her routine is well-established: "Let's go for a run!" "Shall we play?" "What's around here?" "Wait, I'll follow you!" And once she's explored the world, played, run, and tried two or three little mischiefs (well... maybe four), she collapses like a pancake, exhausted, with an air of saying: "Honestly, I haven't done anything all day..." Mira is cheerful, playful, full of life, and completely crazy about humans. She's ready to follow you on all your adventures, whether it's a big hike, a walk in the woods or just going for the mail... because with you, everything becomes an adventure! In short, if you're looking for a companion who can turn your daily life into family comedy, Mira is already ready. All she needs now is a couch... for her naps between expeditions.

FR·Show original

» « On joue ?

About Mira

What life with Mira looks like

Mira is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at S.P.A Vauclusienne in Piégon.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mira, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mira?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. S.P.A Vauclusienne handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mira on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mira if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — S.P.A Vauclusienne will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mira already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mira isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with S.P.A Vauclusienne early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mira and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
