Mirabelka

Female

Mirabelka is waiting for a virtual caregiver. Mirabelka is a roughly one-and-a-half-year-old female dog who came to us from Płońsk. She’s a lively and energetic pup who is very friendly and eager to meet new people and explore new places. She’s a puppy at heart—loves playing and mischief—but she needs a human companion to guide her, take care of her, and shower her with lots of love. Mirabelka isn’t interested in other dogs, shows no aggression, and isn’t afraid of leashes either, though she’ll need a bit of gentle training to walk nicely on one. She’s cheerful, full of kindness and optimism. She loves being petted on the muzzle and tummy, and happily wags her tail whenever she sees her caregiver. Mirabelka is a young, open-hearted dog who needs her own sanctuary—a place where she can let loose and burn off all the energy she has inside. She needs a human who will provide her with a safe haven, plenty of exercise, and who will reciprocate her unconditional love. DON’T BUY—ADOPT!

About Mirabelka

What life with Mirabelka looks like

Mirabelka is a medium-sized adult dog waiting at Fundacja Przyjaciele Braci Mniejszych in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mirabelka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mirabelka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Przyjaciele Braci Mniejszych handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mirabelka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mirabelka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Przyjaciele Braci Mniejszych will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mirabelka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mirabelka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Przyjaciele Braci Mniejszych early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mirabelka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
