Miso is a quiet, calm, gentle, black female. She is a very sweet girl and would be suitable for most types of home as she has lived with a young child. AMiso came in with Amahle but her previous owners have advised that the two cats do not get on particularly well and would be happier homed separately. The cats were very reluctantly given up for rehoming due to the ill health of one of their owners. Miso came to us neutered, microchipped, wormed and fleaed but she has had a health check with the vet on arrival in our care and has restarted her vaccinations. The vet commented that she has lovely teeth for her age. Miso is rather overweight so any adopter will need to be commited to helping Miso lose a little of her excess weight. She will need a booster vaccination in mid September. The photo shows worried looking Miso just after she arrived but we will uodate the website with new photos once she has had time to settle into her foster home. FOSTER HOME UPDATE: Miso seems happy with us. She loves cuddles, makes biscuits several times a day, and even lets me massage her paws. She often comes over and rests on one of our arms for cuddles, although she doesn’t like being picked up or sitting on someone’s lap. She prefers to stay on a stable surface. She spends most of her day sleeping at the foot of the bed or on the sofa; she seems to prefer both to her own bed. She sleeps on a pillow above my head every night. She’s also gentle when asking for food in the morning, usually around 5-6 am. Instead of meowing as loudly as possible, she purrs and nuzzles our faces until we wake up. This sweet girl would definitely suit someone who enjoys her affectionate, clingy personality and is home for a good part of the day. She does get scared easily and goes into hiding even when she hears someone walking along the corridor outside. We think she would do best in a quiet home with an owner who is as gentle as she is.
