Il marche en laisse et serait idéal pour une famille active qui pourrait le promener et lui faire rencontrer d'autres chiens, mais il peut aussi vivre tranquillement en appartement. Il peut cohabiter avec d'autres chiens. Habitué à un grand jardin, il s'adapterait aussi à un espace plus petit, pourvu qu'il ait une famille qui s'engage à ses côtés. Il n'a pas été testé avec les chats. Il est en parfaite santé et n'a aucun antécédent médical.
