Chip – female. black and whitePepsi – male, blackTreacle – male, blackLiquorice – female, black4 -5 weeks old on arrivalArrived with us 10th July (110 days ago)Being looked after in Rode HeathLog number 01825860We realise not everyone is in a position to adopt a companion, so why not take a look at our virtual adoption scheme …..This fluffle came into our care with two other rabbits, a crowded multi animal, most loose, environment in a conservatory, horrific conditions, there were deceased baby rabbits. There is a prosecution pending. It’s taken a while to put them up for adoption as we had to wait to neuter them. Liquorice will be neutered when slightly bigger. To go as pairs of male and female. These cuties came in as five week old babies who had obviously not had the correct nutrition. They were all rather skinny with not much muscle tone around their back ends. They are now on a proper diet suitable for young, growing rabbits and have filled out. Since they arrived at such a young age, we have been able to socialise them well and they are all really friendly! They all enjoy a stroke on the head, especially the two boys and they all ‘help’ (or should I say, get in the way!) when their pen is cleaned out each day.Chip is the largest and has a rather sassy personality! When you put her down again after handling her, she will hop away flicking her back legs as if to say ‘how dare you touch me’! She has such pretty eyes, they are both half brown and half blue. Treacle is the most confident and will always be the first one to greet you. Pepsi is also a confident little chap but not quite as much as his brother. Liquorice is a little smaller than the others but that doesn’t stop her. She will need to wait a bit longer until she is neutered so that she can grow a bit more. We do wonder if they are different ages from different litters. Also, somebody in the group has been getting a bit carried away grooming the others as we have noticed some short whiskers! To try and litter train them, we have had them bedded on shavings with the hay in litter trays. This has helped hugely to keep them tidy!Your browser does not support HTML5 video.Your browser does not support HTML5 video.Your browser does not support HTML5 video.Your browser does not support HTML5 video.Your browser does not support HTML5 video.Indoor housing requirement is a minimum of 60 square feet of floor space 24/7.Outdoor housing requirement is a minimum 6ft shed/house or 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a minimum of 60 sq. feet of secure covered floor space, normally a run and it has to be 3ft in height attached securely to the rabbit house, with ideally but not mandatory, the freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation; exercise, space and enrichment are most important! Please read this information on suitable accommodation : you’d be interested in sharing your home with these cuties, please email for an application form. About Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs

What life with Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs looks like

Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs is a young rabbit waiting at RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire and Buxton in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire and Buxton handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire and Buxton what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire and Buxton directly what is included and what Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs still needs.
What happens if Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Macclesfield, SE Cheshire and Buxton early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mixed Breed Bunny Pairs and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
