Miyu

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Miyu - sweet female cat seeks loving forever home ❤️ Born: approx. 20.01.2025 Sex: female Neutered: yes FIV/FeLV test: performed at departure Location: Partnertierschutzverein Help Labus in Galați, Romania Adoption fee: 220 EURO The beautiful female cat Miyu is currently at our partner animal welfare organization Help Labus in Galati, Romania. She has a special feature. She always holds her tail at a 90-degree angle. This is probably due to an injury or illness she suffered as a young kitten. Miyu is a very sweet cat who misses cuddles. Unfortunately, there is always too little time for this in the shelter everyday 😿 That's why she is now looking for a loving home where she can be loved for who she is. Miyu wants safe outdoor access so she can explore nature and experience small adventures. A busy road should be at least 200 meters away so she can safely be outside. ℹ️ Our cats are tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, de-fleaed, vaccinated and travel with an EU pet passport. If they are of suitable age, they are of course also neutered. Contact: A Heart for Furry Animals in Need e.V.

Kontakt: Ein Herz für Fellnasen in Not e.V.

About Miyu

What life with Miyu looks like

Miyu is a young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. in Waakirchen.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Miyu, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Miyu?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Miyu on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Miyu if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Miyu already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Miyu isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Fellnasen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Miyu and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
