Animal Welfare Advocate: Ilza Yosifova Born: approx. May 2026 Gender: Male Location: Bulgaria Neutered: No FIV Test: Negative FeLV Test: Negative Disabilities: None Compatible With: Children: Unknown Cats: Yes Dogs: Unknown Requirements: NO Single housing—only apartment living, NO outdoor access Balcony or terrace desirable (if available, security measures are required) Mojo experienced from a very young age just how tough life can be. He wasn’t born in a safe home; instead, he was raised on the streets, where he and his mom Ruby, along with his two siblings, struggled daily for survival. Ruby was a loving and cautious mother cat who always kept her little ones well hidden and only ventured out to feed them when it was absolutely necessary. But Mojo never gave up—and eventually, she managed to secure their little family and give them a start in a safer, more protected life. Mojo is a little treasure with a gentle nature who prefers to observe the world from a safe distance at first. Right now, he feels most comfortable staying close to his mom—but day by day, curiosity begins to win out. Then the little tomcat gathers his courage, darts over to play with the other kittens, and proudly explores his territory. He also approaches familiar people in a friendly manner. At first, he might need a brief moment to adjust, but soon he’ll enjoy petting and cozy cuddle sessions together. Mojo is ready to embark on his next adventure. He’s looking for people who will give him time to settle in, lovingly accompany him, and delight in watching him grow from a cautious little kitten into a cheerful whirlwind. His suitcase is packed, and Mojo is waiting to be discovered! ‼️Jojo will only be rehomed to an already existing young cat of similar age—or he’ll bring a friend from the foster home with him‼️

About Mojo

What life with Mojo looks like

Mojo is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mojo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mojo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mojo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mojo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mojo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mojo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Glücksnasen e.V. Tierschutzverein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mojo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
