Adopt Moli

Mixed Breed · Female

Hello, I am Moli! I am a small, energetic female dog who arrived at this breed Animal Shelter on May 15, 2025. I was running down Niepokólczyckiego Street in my leggings, to which keys were attached. Unfortunately, due to the lack of ability to provide me with proper care, I have not returned to my owner and I am currently searching for a new, responsible home. I am very social and friendly. I love people and would prefer to be close to a human all the time. However, I can form a strong bond with my caregiver, so there is a fine line to develop separation anxiety in me. Therefore, I am looking for a home that is aware and will take care of my sense of security and teach me to be comfortable being alone. I have a lot of energy! I jump, run, and am everywhere, sometimes not realizing I could hurt myself. Recently, a tendency to dislocate my kneecap has been noticed, so the animal shelter staff closely observes me. It is possible that in the future, I will need further diagnostics. I am up-to-date on my vaccinations and deworming. Soon, I will also be spayed. I am looking for a home full of patience, care, and love—one that will not only love my sweet eyes but also take care of my health and emotions. Maybe you will be the one to find my safe place?

Niedawno zauważono u mnie tendencję do wypadania rzepki w kolanie, dlatego personel schroniska uważnie mnie obserwuje.

About Moli

What life with Moli looks like

Moli is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Zabrze in Zabrze.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Moli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Moli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Zabrze handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Moli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Moli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Zabrze will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Moli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Moli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Zabrze early rather than rehoming privately; they know Moli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
