Adopt Molino

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

Molino is a neutered mixed-breed puppy born in April 2024 who was found on a landfill near the shelter in Svilos, Serbia. He cared for a litter of puppies affectionately, protected them on the landfill, and was taken in by the shelter with them. Now he is ready to travel and is eagerly waiting for a loving family where he can stay forever. Molino is a lovable dog who loves people above all else. He is exceptionally shy and relishes every moment of being petted. Very quickly, he forms a close bond with his caregivers and enjoys the time spent together. The cheerful dog is very playful and loves engaging in activities with both people and other dogs. He gets along well with his canine companions and plays very much with them. His behavior towards cats and other animals is not known to us. Molino is also curious and enthusiastically explores his surroundings. Spending time in nature, where he can sniff, play, and discover new things, would make him particularly happy. For Molino, we wish to find a loving home where he will be welcomed as a full-fledged family member. His people should have ample time for shared adventures, playtime, and of course, many cuddle moments. For those seeking a loyal, attached, and lively companion, Molino will be a wonderful lifelong friend.

About Molino

What life with Molino looks like

Molino is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Care Hungary.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molino, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molino?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Care Hungary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molino on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molino if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Care Hungary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molino already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molino isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Care Hungary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molino and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
