Molly

Female · Adult · 4 years

MOLLY, a very beautiful gray and white cat to adopt through the association UMA (44000 Nantes) SIREN NUMBER: 794786228 GENDER: Female DATE OF BIRTH: 01/01/2015 IDENTIFICATION: 250268501212131 LOF/LOOF: No NUMBER OF ANIMALS IN THE LITTER: 1 WEIGHT: Unknown AGREEMENTS: Ok with calm dogs. Not ok with cats. Unknown with children. VETERINARY CARE AND TESTS: FIV: Negative FELV: Negative REASON FOR WITHDRAWAL OR ASSUMPTION: Abandoned. Abandoned in front of her building after the arrival of the second child in the family (she used to do her business in the rooms) TEMPERAMENT: Molly is very gentle and close to her humans. She's never the last to give cuddles, she's a real magnet. A bit like a princess, she loves attention when she asks for it. Very calm, she appreciates soft and cozy places to sleep. She doesn't play much, she needs to be stimulated to play (and it doesn't work every time!) otherwise she prefers to observe the outside. She will share her life with a dog without a problem if he ignores her or is extremely gentle with her. However, requests for interactions stress her out a lot: she purrs, may give paw swipes, and stops eating. Talkative, she communicates a lot and meows to get what she wants. She knows how to get her way, answers to her name, and knows the word "come." Sensitive to stress, she needs a family where she won't experience big life changes because she needs stability to remain calm. She doesn't like other cats and may fight to defend her territory. In short, an apartment cat who would rather be comfortable under a blanket with a human than go on a walk in the fields with friends! Come meet her in her foster family! MOLLY, très belle chatte grise et blanche à adopter via l'association UMA (44000 Nantes) NUMÉRO DE SIREN : 794786228 SEXE : Femelle DATE DE NAISSANCE : 01/01/2015 IDENTIFICATION : 250268501212131 LOF/LOOF : Non NOMBRE D'ANIMAUX DANS LA PORTÉE : 1 POIDS : Inconnu ENTENTES : Ok chiens calmes. Pas ok chats. Ententes enfants inconnues. SOINS VÉTÉRINAIRES ET SANTÉ : Vaccinée, stérilisée et déparasitée. FIV : négatif FELV : négatif CAUSE DU RETRAIT OU DE LA PRISE EN CHARGE : Abandon. About Molly

What life with Molly looks like

Molly is a large adult cat waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
