Molly

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 5 months

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Molly has found her home! Her story: Our little, delicate Molly was surrendered together with her sister Meddy, but thankfully discovered and saved by conscientious and animal-loving people. This little soul with sweet button eyes is now waiting for a foster home in Romania to receive a ticket for a life full of love, care, and security. At 2.5 months old, Molly is a very young female dog, currently discovering the world around her. She still has to learn the ABCs of puppy lessons. Every day shines like a great adventure before her, and the puberty phase will also begin in a few months. During this hormonal transition, the ear flaps may be rebellious and forgetful. Empathy and calmness are required during this time. After the completion of puberty, the sweet Molly will most likely be a dream dog that proudly and reliably accompanies her human mate or her human pack. Molly gets along well with fellow animals, who have a distinct white spot on her chest and sweet white tufts on her hind legs. We currently don't know if she likes velvet paws. However, it is already clear that Molly is a friendly little mouse who eagerly awaits love. A cozy dog bed, her own toys, and a human heart that beats for her—these are the fulfillment of all her dreams, because her start in life was anything but beautiful. Would you—perhaps with your family and a first-time dog with authority—like to give our little mouse Molly a dream home? For an adoption fee of 500 Euros, she can be microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas, becoming a permanent part of your life, and she will also bring her EU pet passport. A small Molly would also be thrilled to have a foster home for now. A big thank you goes to Andrè and Insa. You have given Molly a very sweet name and thus an identity and the chance for a dignified, loved dog life. As of: 06.10.

Stand: 06.10.2025

About Molly

What life with Molly looks like

Molly is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Molly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Molly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Molly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Molly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Molly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Molly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Molly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
