Trotz dieser schweren Vergangenheit hat sie sich ihr sanftes Wesen bewahrt und wartet nun sehnsüchtig auf Menschen, die ihr endlich zeigen, wie sich ein liebevolles Zuhause anfühlt. Im Moment befindet sie sich auf einer lieben Pflegestelle. Mona ist eine zierliche Hündin mit etwa 35 cm Schulterhöhe und einem Gewicht von rund 8 kg. Mit ihrem niedlichen Äußeren und ihrer ruhigen Ausstrahlung berührt sie schnell die Herzen der Menschen. Mona ist blind und begegnet ihrer Umgebung deshalb vorsichtig und sensibel. Neue Menschen und ungewohnte Situationen können sie zunächst verunsichern, weshalb sie Zeit, Geduld und ein ruhiges Umfeld braucht, um Vertrauen zu fassen. Gesundheitlich bringt Mona einige Herausforderungen mit: Sie lebt mit Diabetes und dem Cushing-Syndrom und ist deshalb auf regelmäßige medizinische Unterstützung in Form von Tabletten und Spritzen angewiesen.
