Monica was found abandoned on the road next to her dead sibling who was hit by a car. She wouldn't leave her side, but a volunteer took her and now she is temporarily at the Friends of Stray Animals shelter in Komotini, a shelter that is overcrowded as large and adult dogs are not adopted in our area. We hope Monica's fate will be different and she will find a home before the cold and rain come (the shelter is open on top, it's just a makeshift fenced area...) as temperatures in the area drop to minus 7 degrees Celsius in winter. Help us change Monica's life!

Η Μόνικα βρέθηκε παρατημένη πάνω στο δρόμο δίπλα στο σκοτωμένο αδερφάκι της που το πάτησε αυτοκίνητο. Δεν έφευγε από το πλευρό του, αλλά ένας εθελοντής την πήρε και τώρα βρίσκεται προσωρινά στο καταφύγιο των Φίλων Αδέσποτων Κομοτηνής, ένα καταφύγιο ασφυκτικά γεμάτο καθώς στην περιοχή μας δεν υιοθετούνται μεγάλα και ενήλικα σκυλιά. Ελπίζουμε η μοίρα της Μόνικα να είναι διαφορετική και να βρει ένα σπίτι πριν έρθουν τα κρύα και οι βροχές (το καταφύγιο είναι ανοιχτό από πάνω, είναι απλά ένας αυτοσχέδιος περιφραγμένος χώρος...) καθώς οι θερμοκρασίες στην περιοχή τον χειμώνα φτάνουν και τους μείον 7 βαθμούς Κελσίου. Βοηθήστε μας να αλλάξουμε την ζωή της Μόνικα!
