Description: Well what can be said about Monty? He came to us as a bird that had only been out once in 20 years so we were understandably nervous about handling him, however he will step up onto a hand, even in his cage for a man, he is incredibly polite about taking food and head scratches through the bars from anyone but will need a male carer for when his cage needs cleaning etc. He eats most things that are offered to him except pistachios which cause him to strike me and just refuse them from the men in the house! He is on Johnson & jeff seed mix with the dried fruit in. He likes to watch the world go by through the window and is exceptionally quite, he has a little screeching whistle he uses as at greeting and another to attract attention. He really is a dream to care for, he just wants a male to sit and chill with in front of the tv.
