We found Mortimer at the this breed, a place where few people look. But he managed to catch our attention, and we took him in. Mortimer is no typical show dog; he doesn't have that soft, glossy coat, and he might not be considered beautiful by most. But anyone who takes the time to get to know him can immediately sense how friendly and trusting he is. He loves being petted, leans in slightly, as if to say: thank you for seeing me. With other dogs, it's like in real life: sympathy decides. Mortimer would be happy as a lone prince, in a home where he finally belongs, feels safe, and gets the attention he deserves. If you're looking for a real dog, not a perfect show dog with a glossy facade, then Mortimer is exactly the right one.
