Mozart Grey & Friedl

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 5 years

Born around 2021/2022. Sometimes it’s strange—animals arrive at the animal shelter, and we’re certain they won’t need to stay with us long; surely, they’ll quickly find a new home. That’s what we thought about these two: Friedl and her Mozart Grey. Yet for over a year now, the pair have been waiting together for a new home. Why? We’re not entirely sure. Both are incredibly sweet, trusting, and always very friendly toward people. Due to their coat type—both are RexWidder—they cannot live outdoors year-round and should either be able to move indoors during the cold season or be rehomed directly into a home suitable for apartment living year-round.

What life with Mozart Grey & Friedl looks like

Mozart Grey & Friedl is a adult mixed breed animal waiting at Tierheim Wiesloch-Walldorf in Walldorf.

Frequently asked

Adopting Mozart Grey & Friedl, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mozart Grey & Friedl?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Wiesloch-Walldorf handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mozart Grey & Friedl on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mozart Grey & Friedl if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Wiesloch-Walldorf will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mozart Grey & Friedl already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mozart Grey & Friedl isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Wiesloch-Walldorf early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mozart Grey & Friedl and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
