Adopt Mumrik (Мумрік)

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

MUMRICK finally began to smile and trust people. Socialization is complete. We are looking for a family! MUMRICK, a family from Fastiv, who was taken from the apartment of a deceased grandmother, was very different in personality and had traumatic experiences. MUMRICK was the most challenging. An unapproachable, fearful, and unsocialized dog immediately hid in corners and would not allow anyone to touch or talk to him. We are grateful to Kira, who agreed to take the puppy into her home foster care—living with a human makes a difference. Gradually and gently, love changed MUMRICK. He became people-oriented, asks for attention, and radiates joy. As of today, MUMRICK is fully ready for the family we are looking for NOW, as new dogs that require socialization are next in line. A wonderful two-year-old boy, needing time to build trust. He sleeps in the house, goes to the bathroom on the street, runs in the yard with other puppies during the day, and has an outdoor run in the field (on a leash). Aggressive or rough play is not his style. Medium-sized, 15-18 kg, below the knee. Located near Vinnytsia. We can bring him to Vinnytsia, Zhytomir, or Kyiv Oblast. We are considering families from Europe!

About Mumrik (Мумрік)

What life with Mumrik (Мумрік) looks like

Mumrik (Мумрік) is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Happy Paw Vinnytsia Oblast in Ukraine.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇺🇦Adopting from Ukraine

Frequently asked

Adopting Mumrik (Мумрік), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Mumrik (Мумрік)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Happy Paw Vinnytsia Oblast handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Mumrik (Мумрік) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Mumrik (Мумрік) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Happy Paw Vinnytsia Oblast will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Mumrik (Мумрік) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Mumrik (Мумрік) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Happy Paw Vinnytsia Oblast early rather than rehoming privately; they know Mumrik (Мумрік) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (UK). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
