Prachtige vogel … Kakarikis staan bekend om hun nieuwsgierigheid en dat het actieve vogels zijn. Ze hebben natuurlijk veel ruimte nodig en aangepaste voeding. Mail ons voor informatie, ze kunnen in gevangenschap soms zelfs 16 tot 20 jaar worden. Ze houden ook erg van klimmen en zijn meestal iets minder luidruchtig dan andere parkieten soorten. Natuurlijk wil deze knapperd een soortgenootje want alleen is maar alleen.
