Adopt Maks (Макс)

Mixed Breed · Male

Female, born approx. End 11/2025, probably small staying, vaccinated, chipped, EU-Heimtierpass, before leaving test on Babesiose, Lyme disease, Honestiose, Anaplasmose, Dirofilarien and Leishmaniose The cute little Julitschka was found together with two siblings, but without mom in the ice cold Romanian winter in the middle of the street. If she hadn't taken a person with a heart, they would surely have been taken over the same night or frozen in the next days. And they had a second time of luck when they came to the competent care of one of our experienced animals. There they were pupiled and grew up to small self-confident dog children. Today, Julitschka is a sweet little frescoed roof, which drives a lot of scraper on the farm of his nursing mama, with the other dog children and the house cats through the area and takes and enjoys every attention and string unit of the nursing mama. For the sweet Julitschka, which, of course, still has to learn a lot and especially the dog coloring, we wish to have a loving home with time that has a lot of pleasure in joint activities with the young dog child. You're welcome to take care of it. Julitschka is still in Romania. Cost contribution

About Maks (Макс)

What life with Maks (Макс) looks like

Maks (Макс) is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Shepa Kavadartsi in North Macedonia.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Maks (Макс), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Maks (Макс)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Shepa Kavadartsi handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Maks (Макс) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Maks (Макс) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Shepa Kavadartsi will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Maks (Макс) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Maks (Макс) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Shepa Kavadartsi early rather than rehoming privately; they know Maks (Макс) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
