Dit is de lieve Nacho! Eind juni 2026 werd een vrijwilligster gebeld nadat iemand een mank katje op een provinciale weg had gezien. Het kleine katje sleepte zijn linker achterpootje achter zich aan. De dierenarts bevestigde dat het pootje ernstig verrekt was. Hoe en waarom dat is gebeurd wist niemand. De vrijwilligsters kunnen alleen maar aannemen dat Nacho onder een auto had geslapen of dat zijn pootje ergens achter was blijven haken. Omdat de zenuw volledig beschadigd is, werd Nacho naar een orthopedisch dierenarts in Athene gebracht om de diagnose te bevestigen. De orthopedisch dierenarts zei inderdaad dat het niet te genezen is en dat de zenuw niet zal herstellen. Op dit moment sleept Nacho zijn pootje achter zich aan en zal het over ongeveer twee maanden geamputeerd gaan worden. Wanneer hij meer is aangekomen en het veiliger is voor hem om onder narcose te gaan, zal het pootje worden geamputeerd. Nacho heeft een lief karakter. Hij sleept dan wel met zijn achterpootje, maar dit is (voorlopig) geen probleem voor hem. Hij accepteert de dingen zoals ze zijn en heeft plezier met zijn kattenvriendjes en kattenspeeltjes. Hij rent snel en vrolijk naar alles wat zijn aandacht trekt. Nacho is sociaal. Hij is dol op mensen en katten. Zijn beste vriend is Oreo. Ze zouden samen geadopteerd kunnen worden, maar dit is geen vereiste. Hij heeft in ieder geval een kattenvriendje nodig. Nacho houdt van knuffelen. Hij is erg knuffelig en spint veel. Hij vindt het heerlijk om op de schoot van zijn verzorgster te zitten. Hij wordt graag geknuffeld. Hij valt graag in slaap naast zijn verzorgster. Hij houdt van het huiselijk leven. Nacho is speels. Hij geniet van kattenspeelgoed. Hij speelt graag met elk speeltje of dingetje wat hij vindt. Nacho houdt van eten. Hij houdt van blikvoer, droogvoer en snoepjes. Nacho wordt alleen als binnenkat geplaatst. Nacho is gevaccineerd. Update September 2026: Bij Nacho moet een achterpoot worden geamputeerd; de verwachting is dat hij eind november of in december 2026 klaar is om te vliegen. Hij wordt in oktober gecastreerd. Al onze kittens worden uitsluitend in een huisje geplaatst waar al een andere kat aanwezig is, of als duo!
