Nachruf 🖤

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Obituary 🖤 The Weidenberg Animal Aid has lost a dear person, a selfless foster carer and a friend. Birgit, on September 7th, 2022, we spent a beautiful day together at the flea market in Bayreuth - not knowing it would be our last joint event. You were a loving cat mom who cared for many stray kittens, small, big and often sickly kittens for many years. Your commitment is invaluable and will be honored forever. Thank you for all you have done for us and our association. We miss you so much, but are sure that you already have a house cat lying on your lap in your new world. Take a look, a few of your foster cats, who have all found a beautiful home thanks to you, are shown in this photo. Our condolences go to your beloved family. In eternal solidarity with Birgit Kolb 1968 – 2022.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nachruf 🖤, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nachruf 🖤?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Weidenberg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nachruf 🖤 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nachruf 🖤 if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierhilfe Weidenberg what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Nachruf 🖤 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierhilfe Weidenberg directly what is included and what Nachruf 🖤 still needs.
What happens if Nachruf 🖤 isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Weidenberg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nachruf 🖤 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
