adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Nadine has found its own home! Her story: 21220 Seevetal. Nadine is waiting in her foster home for you! If you're looking for a young, friendly, and open-minded female dog, then visit Nadine in her foster home. Nadine has only been in Germany for a short time and has already learned a lot. She is house-trained, goes well on a leash, and rides in the car. Nadine gets along well with other dogs, but cats should not live in the household. Nadine needs a lot of affection, cuddles, and mental stimulation, but she is not a pushy dog and can also be taken to the office. Nadine is only about 30 cm tall, has soft, white fur, and with her large, dark button eyes and alert expression, she is a particularly pretty little dog. The funny ears and the smiling face give her a cheerful appearance and a special charm. The little one is about two to three years old and has a whole life ahead of her. After the adjustment period, a visit to a positively working dog training class would contribute to giving the little female dog even more security and stability and strengthening the bond to her new people. We wish adopters for Nadine who know that such small dogs are not toys. Nice walks and cuddle hours but also head work make Nadine very happy. Nadine will move to a new home in Europe neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas with a positive home animal certificate. She will be placed in a new home after a positive home check. Have you fallen in love with the sweetness? Then contact us and visit Nadine in her foster home. Special thanks to Patricia, who was given the nameship for Nadine on her birthday, giving the pretty female dog her name and a personal identity.

About Nadine

What life with Nadine looks like

Nadine is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nadine, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nadine?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nadine on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nadine if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nadine already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nadine isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nadine and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
