Nael Animal ID: 1628 At the animal shelter since 08/29/2026 Nael is a wonderful cat who is suitable as both a single cat and a second cat. Nael is a particularly delicate and sensitive cat. He quickly closes people who pay attention to him and adores them. He gently asks for petting and enjoys it to the fullest. Nael also wants to learn more about grooming. This requires some patience and a gentle approach. If he becomes uncomfortable after a while, he shows it, but he doesn't get angry. With positive reinforcement, he should learn that grooming is something normal and harmless. Due to his short nose, Nael needs regular eye and nose care. His eyes tear occasionally, which sometimes causes some secretion to collect around the eyes or nose. This care should be gently and naturally integrated into his daily routine. To rule out that infectious pathogens are responsible for this, a swab was taken. Fortunately, the result was unremarkable: all the pathogens tested were negative. If there is a companion, it should be calm, social, and composed, so that Nael feels comfortable in his new home and can arrive at his own pace. We wish Nael people who appreciate his gentle nature and give him the loving attention he so craves.

Nael Tier-ID: 1628 Im Tierheim seit 29.08.2026 Nael ist ein wundervoller Kerl, der sich sowohl als Einzelkater als auch als Zweitkater eignet. Nael ist ein ganz besonders zarter und feinfühliger Kater. Menschen, die ihm Aufmerksamkeit schenken, schließt er schnell ins Herz und himmelt sie regelrecht an. Ganz sanft fragt er nach Streicheleinheiten und genießt diese dann in vollen Zügen. Auch die Fellpflege möchte Nael noch weiter kennenlernen. Hier braucht es etwas Geduld und eine behutsame Herangehensweise. Wird es ihm nach einer Weile unangenehm, zeigt er dies zwar, wird dabei aber nicht böse. Mit positiver Bestärkung soll er weiter lernen, dass Fellpflege etwas ganz normales und ungefährliches ist. Aufgrund seiner verkürzten Nase benötigt Nael regelmäßige Augen- und Nasenpflege. Seine Augen tränen gelegentlich, wodurch sich manchmal etwas Sekret an Augen oder Nase sammeln kann. Diese Pflege sollte behutsam und selbstverständlich in seinen Alltag integriert werden. Um auszuschließen, dass hierfür infektiöse Erreger verantwortlich sind, wurde ein Abstrich vorgenommen. Das Ergebnis war erfreulicherweise unauffällig: Alle untersuchten Erreger waren negativ. Bei einem vorhandenen Artgenossen sollte dieser allerdings eher ruhig, sozial und besonnen sein, damit Nael sich in seinem neuen Zuhause wohlfühlen und in seinem eigenen Tempo ankommen kann.
