Dag lieve mensen, Mijn naam is Nala. Vanaf het eerste moment voelde ik me thuis bij mijn opvanggezin. Ik leerde al snel dat handen niet alleen eten brengen, maar ook zachte aaitjes en heel veel liefde. Daarom kom ik tegenwoordig nieuwsgierig zelf even kijken wanneer er iemand in de buurt is. Een knuffeltje of wat aandacht? Daar zeg ik geen nee tegen! Overdag geniet ik ervan om mijn omgeving te verkennen en alles rustig in mij op te nemen. Maar 's avonds gebeurt er iets wat ondertussen mijn favoriete moment van de dag is. Zodra iedereen naar boven vertrekt om te gaan slapen, wandel ik gewoon mee. Alsof ik dat al mijn hele leven doe. Ik heb namelijk een vast plekje uitgekozen achteraan op het bed. Daar lig ik de hele nacht, veilig, warm en dicht bij mijn mensen. Elke avond opnieuw zoek ik datzelfde plekje op. Volgens mijn opvangmama is het stilaan een echt ritueeltje geworden. Ik ben een lief, zacht meisje dat volop geniet van aandacht, gezelschap en een warme plek om thuis te komen. Nu droom ik alleen nog van een eigen gezin dat mij graag ziet zoals ik ben. Misschien mag ik binnenkort wel bij jou mijn favoriete plekje op het bed komen zoeken?
