Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 10 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Nalie has found its own home! Her story: May we introduce her? Nalie, a young, beautiful female dog with a lot of heart, a lot of charm – and just as much teenage mood swings. The pretty mouse was found alone on the street, exposed, and without any security. Luckily, an animal rescuer took her in immediately and gave her a place in her foster home in Bistrița. There, Nalie blossoms day by day and shows how much joy of life is in her. Nalie is about ten months old, so right in the exciting phase between puppy and adulthood. She is very friendly to people, seeks closeness, enjoys cuddles, and shows clingy and open-hearted behavior. She gets along well with other dogs and even cats can be part of the household – Nalie is absolutely uncomplicated. With her approximately 45 cm and 12 kg, she brings the perfect "fits-everywhere" size. Both physically and character-wise, she is a gentle, friendly companion who wants to please her person – even though her young-dog brain cells are currently occasionally in chaos mode. Because yes: Nalie is in the middle of puberty. This means: boundaries are tested, actually known rules are sometimes forgotten, and the young lady sometimes decides that she needs to explore something very urgently. Her future family should guide her lovingly, patiently, and consistently, showing her what she can and cannot do. House training, leash training, being alone, and everyday routines are still things she needs to learn. A positively working dog training class would be ideal to help Nalie safely and confidently navigate this developmental phase. With humor, time, and heart, Nalie will develop into a wonderful, loyal companion – grateful, loving, and full of joy. Who will give this enchanting young female dog a home where she can finally arrive and be loved? Nalie is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas, and brings her EU pet passport. She can also be fostered in Germany. Thank you to namesake Irina – you gave Nalie her beautiful name! As of: 23.11. This is a young, adolescent dog.

Vielen Dank an Namenspatin Irina – du hast Nalie ihren schönen Namen geschenkt! Stand: 23.11.2025

About Nalie

What life with Nalie looks like

Nalie is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nalie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nalie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nalie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nalie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nalie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nalie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nalie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
