adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Nana has found her home! Her story: Our four-month-old Nana arrived fresh in her foster home in Radolfzell am Bodensee. Despite the long journey and the initial separation from mother and siblings, she approached her new environment with curiosity, openness, and complete bravery. New people, unknown sounds, and daily routines? For Nana, no reason for worry, but rather for exciting discoveries. With an approximate shoulder height of 37 centimeters at the moment, she is likely to grow to a medium size. The sweet puppy has a very friendly and gentle nature: Nana observes a lot, understands quickly what is expected of her, and remains wonderfully relaxed and unexcited. It's really fun playing with the little puppy! In the foster home, she lives problemlessly with a female dog and a cat. Nana has also already met several children, and she handles it calmly and friendly. She is neither timid nor intrusive, but meets two- and four-legged beings with pleasant calmness. Nana's favorite place is near her people. She enjoys cuddles very much and looks forward to any form of shared mental stimulation. Especially in hide-and-seek games, she already shows endurance and enthusiasm. Her mix of joyful puppy energy and natural balance makes her a pleasant companion who will fit well into a family life, with children or other pets. Of course, Nana is still at the beginning of her dog life, and there will certainly be many nerve-wracking times. But Nana is a lively, curious, people-oriented, and cuddly young female dog with a lot of potential. And these are already good prerequisites to develop into a great companion. Originally, Nana came from our private shelter in Fantanele. Together with Mom Runa and her siblings Donut, Camille, Makani, Lollypop, Brookie, and Hazelnut, she was found under a bridge and brought to safety. We wish to find sweet Fellnase people who will give her time, love, and understanding. People who will give her security through clear structures and foster and educate her with loving consistency. People who will go through thick and thin with her and take her on many shared adventures. Nana is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings an EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive match. Do you like our golden Nana? Then contact us quickly and get to know her personally. Thank you community, you have given the little Nana her name. Date: 21.02.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 21.02.2026

About Nana

What life with Nana looks like

Nana is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nana, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nana?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nana on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nana if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nana already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nana isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nana and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
