This is Linda, and she lives in the animal shelter, practically all of her existence. Not from the start, but from the very beginning, precisely. She gave birth to a bunch of puppies at the facility where "she worked," and we took them. Our two colleagues went in front, carrying the little ones in boxes, while Linda followed. We found the puppies a family, but Linda stayed at the animal shelter. For many years, she would go at night to guard her "business," while during the day she would come back to the animal shelter, eat, sleep, and the cycle would repeat. She is a devoted, intelligent, and very stubborn dog. We tried not to release her, but wherever she went, she would jump over the two-meter fence, scrape her paws, and we even put mattresses on the outside. And one day, they really wanted to take her to a family in Kiev, but Linda couldn't leave her job. Years passed, and she started to age. She retired herself and only occasionally wanders near the animal shelter. She is deaf, has poor vision, a typical dog grandma. Considering she is somewhere around 13-15 years old, it's not bad. And she is under constant medical supervision. Diagnosis – chronic kidney insufficiency with sclerotic kidneys. Mucocele. A lifelong Royal Canin Renal diet, lifelong amlodipine, lesiprolol, and her kidney indicators are checked periodically. Always current financial, medical, and food assistance is needed. She is vaccinated, sterilized, chipped, and has a veterinary passport.

Це Лінда і вона живе в притулку практично все його існування. Не з перших днів, але з перших місяців, так точно. Вона народила купу цуценят на підприємстві, на якому “працювала” і ми їх забирали. Попереду йшли два наших співробітника і несли малих в коробках, а Лінда йшла слідом. Цуценятам ми тоді знайшли родину, а Лінда залишилась у притулку. Вона довгі роки ходила вночі охороняти своє підприємство, а вдень верталась в притулок, їла, спала, а вночі все повторювалось. Віддана, розумна і дуже вперта собака. Ми намагались її не випускати, та де там, вона перестрибувала через двометровий паркан, збивала лапи, ми навіть підкладали матраци з зовнішньої сторони. І колись її дуже хотіли забрати в родину у Києві, але Лінда не могла покинути свою роботу. Пройшли роки, вона стала старіти. Сама себе відправила на пенсію і гуляє іноді тільки біля притулку. Не чує, погано бачить, типова собача бабця. Враховуючи, що їй десь 13-15 років, це непогано. І вона знаходиться під постійним наглядом наших лікарів. Діагноз – хронічна ниркова недостатність зі склерозуванням нирок. Мукоцеле. Довічна дієта Роял Канін Ренал, довічне призначення препарату амлодипін, леспідол, періодично здаються ниркові показники. Завжди актуальна допомога фінансова, ліками та кормами. Вакцинована, стерилізована, чипована, з ветеринарним паспортом.
