Na’vi

Chihuahua · Female · Senior · 12 years

Can live with cats? No cats please Can Na’vi live with dogs? Could potentially live with a male dog pending a successful introduction Can Na’vi live with children? Prefers an adult only home Na’vi is a very special little girl who deserves nothing more than a warm, loving home where she can feel safe, cherished and truly at peace. Na’vi is partially blind, and sadly, at a time in her life when she needed security and love the most, she was abandoned. Instead of spending her golden years curled up in a cozy home, surrounded by people who adore her, she found herself needing a new beginning. Na’vi will need a home with direct access to a secure garden, where she can safely potter around, explore at her own pace and enjoy the fresh air and little comforts of being outdoors. Having a garden she can easily access will help her feel comfortable and confident in her new home. But despite everything she has been through, Na’vi remains such a lovely, gentle girl. She has so much love left to give and is now looking for someone who will see past her blindness and see the beautiful soul she is. She deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe, loved and treasured enjoying all the little comforts of home, with a soft bed, and the reassurance that she will never be left behind again. If you would like to adopt Na’vi, please fill out a rehoming questionnaire and a member of the team will get in contact within 48 hours. About Na’vi

What life with Na’vi looks like

Na’vi is a senior chihuahua dog waiting at All Dogs Matter in London.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Na’vi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Na’vi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. All Dogs Matter handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Na’vi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Na’vi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — All Dogs Matter will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Na’vi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Na’vi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with All Dogs Matter early rather than rehoming privately; they know Na’vi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
