She’s been with us since July 4th. She’s still getting into shape and needs to gain some weight. We’re getting to know each other better and we’re already certain that she’ll become a wonderful, devoted dog :) Nela still shows signs of anxiety; loud noises from the neighborhood—such as passing trucks or gunshots—stress her out. When that happens, she listens nervously with her tail tucked between her legs :( She releases her tension by playing with a ball or seeking comfort close to her human companion. She’s happy to bring toys over and hand them to her caregiver :) For now, we’ve put off grooming and bathing her ;) She’s absolutely adorable, friendly, and stays close to us during walks. She’ll be ready for adoption in the second half of August, but we’re already looking for her new family. Nela is 4 years old and will be given up for adoption after spaying. Nela, jest z nami od 4 lipca. Jeszcze dochodzi do formy, musi przybrać na wadze. Coraz lepiej się poznajemy i już wiemy na pewno, że będzie z niej cudowny, oddany swojej rodzinie psiak. Nela na początku wykazywała lęk, stresowały ją głośne dźwięki z okolicy, np. przejeżdżająca ciężarówka, wystrzały, itp. Nasłuchiwała wtedy nerwowo z podkulonym ogonem. Obecnie stała się odważniejsza a w sytuacjach stresujących potrafi głośno zaznaczyć swoją obecność. Napięcie rozładowuje na zabawie piłką lub szuka wsparcia przy człowieku. Zabawki chętnie przynosi i oddaje opiekunowi :) Jest przekochana, przyjazna, na spacerze trzyma się blisko nas. Potrafi jednak wykazywać zachowanie obronne przy obcych osobach, w sytuacji kiedy poczuje się zagrożona. Nela ma 4 lata, szukamy odpowiedzialnego domu.
