Nelson jumped away from the sash for death. The still young dog should be slept by the veterinarian as he had infected himself with leishmaniose. The ex-owner, a hunter, had no more use for this dear dog. Luckily, the vet did not want to end Nelson's life. Instead, he contacted us and asked for help. We took over Nelson and took care of his therapy. Meanwhile, all blood and organ values are in the green area. Therefore Nelson can now start his new life with his own family. Nelson is a really nice savior. He is extremely sweet to all people, sometimes a little stormy, but always friendly. He looks good with dogs of both sexes. He knows exactly where to subordinate himself and where he has a playmate in front of him, with whom he can go through the garden. It is very typical of its attachment that you must like. Nelson loves to be cramped and crumbling. Nelson always wants to be with his human being. Contact lies are his motto. Nelson has good appetite, you can also say “forget it”. But what is very helpful for the education he undoubtedly needs. Nelson was probably once hunted and if you're on the way with him, you can clearly see what qualities are in him. It should be clear to a future owner that at least in the forest and the field he can not run smoothly and properly on the leash. We therefore seek savior-loving people who know and love this race and also do not underestimate the training effort. A well fenced garden is a must because Nelson should be able to move freely at least at home without leash. Nelson is very well adjusted for the Leishmaniose. He gets low-purity food, which he wears well. Allopurinol is first prescribed as permanent therapy. Blood and organ values, as well as the titre at the veterinarian should be checked twice a year. Nelson is not only a beautiful dog outside, he also has an engaging funny character and often he can make us laugh. However, the sensitive dog does not wear any hardness. Nelson has been very lucky so far. And that's how it should go on for him.

Nelson ist dem Tod mal schnell von der Schippe gesprungen. Der noch junge Hund sollte vom Tierarzt eingeschläfert werden, da er sich mit Leishmaniose infiziert hatte. Der Ex-Besitzer, ein Jäger, hatte keine Verwendung mehr für diesen lieben Hund. Zum Glück wollte der Tierarzt Nelsons Leben nicht beenden. Stattdessen hat er uns kontaktiert und um Hilfe gebeten. Wir haben Nelson übernommen und für seine Therapie gesorgt. Mittlerweile sind alle Blut- und Organwerte im grünen Bereich. Deshalb kann Nelson nun in sein neues Leben bei seiner eigenen Familie starten. Nelson ist ein echt netter Setter. Er ist äusserst lieb zu allen Menschen, manchmal etwas stürmisch, aber immer freundlich. Mit Hunden beiderlei Geschlechts kommt er gut aus. Er weiss genau, wo er sich unterordnen soll und wo er einen Spielkameraden vor sich hat, mit dem er durch den Garten toben kann. Sehr typisch ist seine Anhänglichkeit, die man mögen muss. Nelson liebt es geschmust und gekrault zu werden. Nelson möchte immer bei seinem Menschen sein. Kontaktliegen ist sein Motto. Nelson hat guten Appetit, man kann auch „verfressen“ sagen. Was aber für die Erziehung, die er zweifelsohne noch braucht, sehr hilfreich ist. Nelson wurde bestimmt einst jagdlich geführt und wenn man mit ihm unterwegs ist, kann man deutlich erkennen, welche Qualitäten in ihm stecken. Dass er zumindest in Wald und Feld nicht brav und ordentlich ruhig an der Leine laufen kann, sollte einem zukünftigen Besitzer klar sein. Wir suchen deshalb Setterverliebte Menschen, die diese Rasse kennen und lieben und auch den Trainingsaufwand nicht unterschätzen. Ein gut eingezäunter Garten ist ein Muss, denn Nelson soll sich zumindest Zuhause ohne Leine frei bewegen können. Nelson ist bezüglich der Leishmaniose sehr gut eingestellt. Er bekommt purinarmes Futter, welches er gut verträgt. Allopurinol ist vorerst als Dauertherapie verordnet. Zweimal jährlich sollten Blut- und Organwerte, sowie der Titer beim Tierarzt gecheckt werden. Nelson ist nicht nur äusserlich ein wunderschöner Hund, er hat auch einen einen einnehmenden witzigen Charakter und nicht selten kann er uns zum Lachen bringen. Jedoch verträgt der sensitive Hund keine Härte. Nelson hatte bisher sehr viel Glück. Und so soll es für ihn auch weitergehen.
