Neo är en hane som haft en mycket tuff start i livet. Han lämnades in av sin tidigare ägare och stod därefter på avlivnings listan. Tack vare en engagerad volontär fick han en andra chans. Men hans resa har fortfarande varit lång och svår. Nästan två år av hans unga liv har tillbringats på shelter. Livet i hägn tär på Neo. Han blir orolig, ledsen och längtar ständigt efter att få komma ut. Kyla, fukt och instängdhet är sådant han mår dåligt av. Trots detta har Neo bevarat sin kärlek till människor. Han är vänlig, social, tycker om lek och uppskattar promenader. Han lyssnar på enkla kommandon och går bra i koppel. Neo är en stark, smidig och intelligent hund som skulle må mycket bra av både fysisk och mental stimulans. Med andra hundar kan Neo vara reaktiv, särskilt om han känner sig pressad. Volontärerna på sheltret upplever dock att han inte söker konflikt, utan reagerar när han blir provocerad.
