Nera ♀ pup

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy

Little Nera was thrown into the garbage in Bosnia together with her brothers and sisters when they were only a few weeks old. We took them in and cared for them as well as we could, but only Nera and her sister Iris survived. The others succumbed to parvo. Fortunately, Nera was barely affected by it. She is always happy, playful, cheerful, and sweet. She gets along with all other dogs and is used to cats and children. We preferably place her with another dog, as she enjoys having company. Nera was born around 21-04-2026. She weighs only 10 kilos and stands 38 cm tall, so she will not grow very large. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and can be seen at a foster family in Arnhem.

Nera is ongeveer 21-04-2026 geboren. Ze is slechts 10 kilo en 38 cm hoog. Ze zal dus niet zo groot worden. Ze is geënt, gechipt en ontwormd en is te bewonderen in een opvenggezin in Arnhem.

About Nera ♀ pup

What life with Nera ♀ pup looks like

Nera ♀ pup is a small puppy mixed breed dog waiting at stichting Idemo in Netherlands.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nera ♀ pup, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nera ♀ pup?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. stichting Idemo handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nera ♀ pup on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nera ♀ pup if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — stichting Idemo will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Nera ♀ pup already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nera ♀ pup isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with stichting Idemo early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nera ♀ pup and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
