Adopt Nessa

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 4 years

26.04.2017 arriving from a colony, a friendly golden tri-color kitten named Nessa made it to the shelter. Nessa is the oldest kitten in the colony, and by the time Nessa arrived at the shelter, Nessa was already 4 months old. However, Nessa is the most affectionate and playful of the litter, showing that age is just a number; in Nessa's quarantine period, the comfort was always the greatest. But it is also natural how otherwise it would be difficult to keep Nessa from biting or hitting with a paw, as Nessa's right eye has sometimes developed an issue for some reason, but according to the vet, this does not affect the nose. Nessa is a neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated kitten and could be adopted immediately into a new home. Nessa goes to a home on a lease agreement with care, and interested applicants must first complete the questionnaire available here:

26.04.2017 suurest kolooniast turvakodusse jõudnud sõbralik kuldpruun triibik. Nessa on memme koloonia kõige vanem kiisu vanust oli tal turvakodusse jõudes juba 4 aasta jagu. Samas on Nessa sellest seltskonnast kõige vallatum ja mänguhimulisem, mis näitab, et vanus on kõigest number Tema karantiinipuuris valitses alati paras segadus, aga see on ka loomulik kuidas muidu on võimalik korralikult mänguhiirele jahti pidada või ümmargust palli taga ajada Nessa parem silm on kunagi mingil põhjusel viga saanud, aga tohtrite sõnul see piigale valu ei valmista. Tegu on vaid väikese iluveaga, mida Nessa laheda ja sõbraliku iseloomu tõttu tegelikult tähelegi ei pane. Armas Nessa on steriliseeritud, kiibitud ja vaktsineeritud ja võiks kasvõi kohe uude kodusse kolida Nessa läheb koju lepingu ja loovutustasuga, huvilistel tuleb eelnevalt täita ankeet, mille leiab siit:

About Nessa

What life with Nessa looks like

Nessa is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu in Kuressaare.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nessa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nessa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nessa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nessa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Nessa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nessa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with MTÜ Saaremaa Lemmikloomade Turvakodu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nessa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
