NESTOR - last shot already up - male, Tervuren mix, 13 yrs, born late March 2013, vaccinated, chipped, neutered, EU passport. - Waiting in France! - Another call from the vet. An old Tervueren mix was brought to him for euthanasia, he's so old. He is indeed turning 13 at the end of March, but can that be a reason to put down a friendly dog? The vet refused and informed us instead, so NESTOR wasn't euthanized but neutered and had his tartar removed. His blood test also shows he's still in good shape. Currently, he has to endure a small unheated kennel, but we hope to find people who can offer him a suitable home. It should be on the ground floor and his coat shows he was often kept outdoors. This will change now, he won't be placed for outdoor housing, but an overheated apartment isn't the right home either. We want NESTOR to see that there are also responsible people who appreciate and love such a furry creature. Für NESTOR - war die letzte Spritze schon aufgezogen - Rüde, Tervuren-Mix, 13 J., geb. Ende März 2013, geimpft, gechippt, kastriert, EU-Paß. - Wartet in Frankreich ! - Wieder mal ein Anruf vom Tierarzt. Ein alter Tervueren-Mischling wurde ihm gebracht zum Einschläfern, er sei doch schon alt. Es ist richtig, er wird Ende März 13 Jahre alt, aber kann das ein Grund sein, einen freundlichen Hund einzuschläfern ? Der Tierarzt hat sich geweigert, sondern uns informiert und so wurde NESTOR nicht eingeschläfert, sondern kastriert und Zahnstein entfernt. Auch das Blutbild zeigt, dass er noch richtig gut drauf ist. Im Moment muss er leider in einem kleinen unbeheizten Zwinger ausharren, aber wir hoffen inständig, dass wir Menschen finden, die ihm ein passendes Zuhause bieten. Es sollte ebenerdig sein und seinem Fell sieht man an, dass er häufig draußen leben musste. Das soll sich jetzt allerdings ändern, er wird nicht in Außenhaltung vermittelt, aber eine überheizte Wohnung wird auch nicht das passende Zuhause sein. Wir möchte NESTOR zeigen, dass es auch verantwortungsbewusste Menschen gibt, die ein solch haariges Wesen schätzen und lieben. Mehr Info u.
